Abstract: As technology rapidly advances into many sectors, schools often seem to take slower steps in this direction. As a result, it is important that we think over about how to insert technology in a school environment in a way that it becomes more present in this sector. This goes beyond simply making gadgets and technological resources available. It requires careful planning to integrate them in a way as to enrich the learning process. Therefore, we seek to understand the viability of interactive video lessons as a technological tool with pedagogical purposes. That said, this study aims to develop a sequence of interactive video lessons adressing High School geometry and trigonometry subjects, using mathematical concepts associated to the context of bees. The creative process of the video lessons was based on the Digital Technologies of Information and Communication (TDIC), and grounded in the concepts of interaction and interactivity and in the theory of Mathematical Modeling. After the recording of the video lessons, they were incorporated into the Edpuzzle platform, allowing for the insertion of interactive elements. For its evaluation, the sequency of interactive video lessons was tested in the class of IT and Teaching of the Mathematics Course of the Federal University of Uberlândia, aiming to obtain reports that would allow a further detailed analysis of the platform’s functionalities. The analysis of the results showed that the interactive video lessons offer an experience closer to the classroom environment, since it allows, through mediated interaction, the establishment of a consistent communication between teacher and student, via technological devices. This study aims to contribute to the teaching community by making available this sequence of interactive video lessons for educational purposes. Furthermore, it is desired that, by exploring the video lessons and understanding the functionalities of the platform, teachers feel inspired to create their own productions, incorporating the context of modern ...
