A SOCIOLOGIA NO CURRÍCULO DO ENSINO MÉDIO BRASILEIRO

The school curriculum is not something finished, but an object of permanent construction by different social actors. Thus, the list of disciplines that comprise it has also changed over time. The discipline of Sociology is going through turbulent moments of comings and goings in the Brazilian school curriculum, which is linked to different social contexts and their political and ideological conceptions. Therefore, through the use of the hermeneutics investigation method and bibliographical and documental analysis, we seek to show the moments of insertion and exclusion of the discipline in the Brazilian school curriculum in High School. The results show that the subject was present in the curriculum in governments called left-wing and was removed from the curriculum in governments characterized as right-wing. Thus, sociology is in a constant situation of uncertainty in the school curriculum, due to the ideologies that permeate government policies in different historical moments. ; O currículo escolar não é algo acabado, mas objeto de permanente construção por diferentes atores sociais. Assim, o rol de disciplinas que o integram também se alterou com o passar do tempo. A disciplina de Sociologia passa por momentos turbulentos de idas e vindas no currículo escolar brasileiro, o que está atrelado a contextos sociais diversos e suas concepções políticas e ideológicas. Diante disso, por meio do emprego do método de investigação da hermenêutica e de análise bibliográfica e documental, procuramos mostrar os momentos de inserção e exclusão da disciplina no currículo escolar brasileiro no Ensino Médio. Os resultados apontam que a disciplina esteve presente no currículo em governos ditos de esquerda e foi suprimida do currículo em governos caracterizados como de direita. Desse modo, a Sociologia se encontra em constante situação de incerteza no currículo escolar, por conta das ideologias que permeiam as políticas governamentais nos diferentes momentos históricos.
