In this 3-credit unit course we will cover the microbiology of bacterial and fungal organisms of importance to veterinary medicine. This content of this course lies somewhere in between basic microbiology and clinical infectious disease; although we will discuss some fundamental microbiological concepts, material will be presented from the clinician’s perspective where possible.
