The Spanish Urban Agenda: towards a healthier city ; La Agenda Urbana Española: hacia una ciudad más saludable

This work analyzes to what extent the Spanish Urban Agenda considers health as one of the critical elements that have guided its writing. In order to do so, this document is studied consid­ering three of the elements that - as will be justified in due course- are understood to be necessary to achieve healthier cities. Thus, first of all, it explores if a change towards a city of proximity is proposed. For which it will be necessary to address densities, complexity and physical continuity of the built environment. The second element is related to the introduction of nature in the city surpass­ing the concept of public open spaces and facilities and introducing the idea of green infrastructure. Last, but not least, the third one refers to the creation of spaces for coexistence. ; Se analiza en este trabajo hasta qué punto la Agenda Urbana Española considera la salud como uno de los elementos críticos que han guiado su redacción. Para ello se recurre a su estudio considerando tres de los elementos que, tal y como se justificará en su momento, se entienden necesarios para conseguir ciudades más saludables. Así, en primer lugar, si se propone un cambio hacia una ciudad de proximidad. Para lo cual habrá que atender a densidades, continuidad física del tejido edificado y complejidad. El segundo está relacionado con la introducción de la naturaleza en la ciudad superando el concepto de equipamiento e introduciendo el de infraestructura verde. Y el tercero se refiere a la creación de espacios de convivencia.
