¿Critique Génétique y/o Filologia d’Autore? Según los casos. “Historia” –¿o fin?– “de una utopía real” ; Genetic Criticism or Author’s Philology? According to Each Case: “History” –or End? – “Of a Real Uthopia”

A pesar de haber desarrollado diferentes métodos, terminologías y, sobre todo, de suponer un acercamiento radicalmente distinto al texto, la crítica genética y la critica delle varianti han motivado interesantes diálogos entre sus miembros que, sin embargo, no han prosperado del todo. En este artículo se detallan las circunstancias que favorecen u obstaculizan dicho diálogo, sus características esenciales y las ventajas e inconvenientes de aplicar una u otra escuela a dos textos concretos: Paisajes después de la batalla de Juan Goytisolo y La media noche de Ramón del Valle Inclán ; Despite their different methods, terminology and especially their different view of the text, the genetic critic and the crítica delle varianti have created an interesting debate among its members although it has not succeeded. This article studies the main circunstances of this failure, the main features of these disciplines and the advantanges and disadvantages of their methods in two texts: Paisajes después de la batalla of Juan Goytisolo and La media noche written by Ramón del Valle Inclán
