Abstract: En esta investigación se adaptan estrategias pedagógicas por medio de pictogramas, para facilitar la formación académica de niños con trastorno autista de la básica primaria del Instituto Técnico Guaimaral de la ciudad de Cucutá. El autismo se asume desde José Ramón Alonso (2004) quien señala: “el autismo es una discapacidad, un trastorno generalizado del desarrollo cerebral que produce un comportamiento anómalo en el cual los niños afectados se muestran indiferentes, ausentes, con dificultad para formar lazos emocionales con otras personas”. La investigación estimula la autoestima al hacer sentir al educando un sujeto activo en igualdad de condiciones. La muestra fue de 5 estudiantes con autismo. Las estrategias se trabajaron con la finalidad de buscar acciones adecuadas y dar solución a la problemática de la comunidad autista, mejorando el proceso de aprendizaje en el marco de la inclusión educativa. ; In this research, pedagogical strategies are adapted by means of pictograms, to facilitate the academic training of children with autistic disorder at the primary level of the Guaimaral Technical Institute in the city of Cucuta.
