      Macroradicals of various vinyl monomers were formed by heterogeneous solution copolymerization of maleic anhydride and homopolymerizations of the following monomers: acrylonitrile, styrene, methyl methacrylate and vinyl acetate. Block copolymers obtained from the macroradicals were characterized using solubility, yield, and pyrolytic gas chromatograph data.
