“Don’t Rush, no, That Nothing is For Now”: 100 Years of EaD in Brazil – Letter to Future Generations ; “Não se Afobe, não, Que Nada é Pra Já”: 100 Anos de EaD no Brasil – Carta às Futuras Gerações

In the year that marks the centennial celebration of Distance Education (EaD) in Brazil, we are invited to reflect on the journey already taken and to envision the future. It is in this context that we present a letter to future generations, describing the lived experience in the training of teachers in the Distance Education modality as part of the team of a university participating in the CEDERJ Consortium - Center for Distance Higher Education in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The Actor-Network Theory is used as a theoretical and methodological framework. We envision that the legacy of 100 years of distance education, in general, and of CEDERJ, in particular, is to pave the way through the training of educators engaged in the construction of social life. Teacher training. ; No ano que marca o centenário da Educação a distância (EaD) no Brasil, somos convidados a refletir sobre o caminho já percorrido e a vislumbrar o futuro. É nesse contexto que registramos uma carta às futuras gerações descrevendo a experiência vivida na formação de professores na modalidade EaD como parte da equipe de uma universidade integrante do Consórcio CEDERJ – Centro de Educação Superior a Distância do estado do Rio de Janeiro. A Teoria Ator-Rede foi usada como referencial teórico-metodológico. Vislumbramos que o legado dos 100 anos da educação a distância, em geral, e do CEDERJ, em particular, seja abrir caminhos para a formação de docentes envolvidos na construção da vida social.
