    • Abstract:
A color postcard with a split image of two residences in Delmar, Delaware. The top residence is that of F.E. Lynch, and the bottom one belongs to the mayor. Both houses are two-story buildings with wrap-around porches. The bottom photo shows a figure sitting in an automobile and on the porch. Mrs. Alice Brill of Baltimore, Maryland, received this postcard from Clarence Brown. Clarence wondered why Mrs. Brill hadn't written or updated him on how she was doing. Clarence wrote that he had assumed that Mrs. Brill was dead since she hadn't written to him. Clarence asked after Bessie, Grant, and Jeff and told Mrs. Brill he was fine. The postcard was published by Louis Kaufmann & Sons of Baltimore, Maryland, and made in the U.S.A. A postmark on the back indicates that this postcard was mailed from Delmar, Delaware. The postage stamp is a one-cent U.S. #443, George Washington. The back of the postcard is labeled 0095 and 22.50.
