      Commensality is an increasingly popular topic among scholars. Yet, its position within tourism and hospitality literature remains unclear to most. This narrative review, based on the works of a doctoral study, offers insights into the space and place commensality takes in relation to other key concepts within the tourism and hospitality body of knowledge.
