With the impulse and change in the productive matrix of the country, there is an increase in the supply of energy generation, the same that went from a type of non-renewable generation with the consumption of fossil fuels, to be led by renewable generation, as is the case of hydroelectric and wind power, which currently and according to data from the magazine of the Corporación Eléctrica Digital Energía, in its publication of May 2020 indicates that “Ecuador exports 400 MW to Colombia, this due to the installed capacity and adjustments in the transmission system, which will represent revenues of around 100 million dollars annually ”. This document presents the "Hot dip galvanizing project for the company Metalectri Cia. Ltda. Of the city of Quito, under the foundations of PMBOK® Projects management", a company in the metalworking sector of the city of Quito; The Project Initiation and Planning process groups are presented, based on the good practices of the Project Management Institute PMI. The financial analysis of the project is carried out to determine its profitability; economic analysis with a study of the electricity market, which reflects the growth in the demand for electricity in the country and the relationship with the galvanizing business and its future projection.
