      This essay problematizes the relationships between the rights to education and food at school, considering dimensions associated with the cultivation of a school culture that can assume food as a source of inspiration for humanistic, critical and citizen education of students. Therefore, it goes through the trajectory of the conformation of school feeding, as an object of study and research, extension and training space, revealing the contradictions in the institution of food as a human right in everyday school life in the face of the persistence of the welfare perception. Subsequently, it problematizes the educational power of eating at school and the challenges of its conjunction with the right to school, starting, on the one hand, from the assumption of the indivisibility of human rights and, on the other, from the possibilities of its materialization in convergence with the humanization of knowledge about food and the practices of eating at school in the direction of guaranteeing human dignity and promoting social and school justice. ; Este ensayo problematiza la relación entre los derechos a la educación y a la alimentación en la escuela, considerando dimensiones asociadas al cultivo de una cultura escolar que pueda asumir la alimentación como fuente de inspiración para la formación humanística, crítica y ciudadana de los estudiantes. Para ello, recorre la trayectoria de la conformación de la alimentación escolar, como objeto de estudio e investigación, espacio de extensión y formación, revelando las contradicciones en la institución de la alimentación como derecho humano en la cotidianidad escolar frente a la persistencia de la percepción asistencialista.
