Transtorno do Espectro Autista e inclusão escolar: em foco as políticas públicas brasileiras ; Autism Spectrum Disorder and school inclusion: focus on brazilian public policies

This bibliographic and documentary study aimed to analyze Brazilian public policies that address the school inclusion of autistic students. Through the research conducted, it was found that the school inclusion of autistic students represents a significant advance for education, as it recognizes the importance of a welcoming and accessible environment for all students. However, there is a gap between what the laws indicate and the pedagogical practices carried out with these students. Therefore, changes need to be implemented so that educational institutions are truly inclusive. Investment in education and ongoing training of teachers is essential, so that pedagogical practices based on solid theoretical foundations can be developed. It was concluded that inclusive education is essential in any society, as it promotes equal opportunities and the appreciation of diversity. In addition, it contributes to the construction of a culture of respect for differences and prepares people to live in a plural society. ; Este estudo, de cunho bibliográfico e documental, teve como objetivo analisar as políticas públicas brasileiras que tratam da inclusão escolar de estudantes autistas. Por meio da pesquisa realizada, verificou-se que a inclusão escolar de estudantes autistas representa um avanço significativo para a educação, ao reconhecer a importância de um ambiente acolhedor e acessível para todos os estudantes. No entanto, existe uma lacuna entre o que as leis indicam e as práticas pedagógicas realizadas com esses estudantes. Desse modo, é preciso que mudanças sejam implementadas para que as instituições de ensino sejam realmente inclusivas. É fundamental o investimento na educação e na formação continuada de docentes, para que sejam desenvolvidas práticas pedagógicas fundamentadas em bases teóricas sólidas.
