    • Abstract:
An interview with freelance illustrator and comic artist Naomi Franquiz, who has illustrated comics such as Marvel’s Incredible Squirrel Girl (#41), Misfit City, Hayley Kiyoko’s short graphic novel Gravel & Tempo, and “Songbird for a Vulture” in Power & Magic: The Queer Witch Comics Anthology. Here she talks about her experiences as a comic artist, what and who has inspired her, LGBTQ+ content she would like to see more of in comics, and how teens who want to be comic artists can tell their stories.
