A participação do bibliotecário na gestão da informação e do conhecimento institucional

This work provides a reflection within the scope of information science on the role of libraries in the 21st century, especially those of public organizations, which must, at all times, rethink and update themselves to be able to fulfill their duties. Its chapters, written by renowned researchers, representatives of various national and international institutions, reaffirm the importance of the topic and the need to constantly think about the qualification of public services. Thus, it aims to contribute to improving the debate on the perspectives and challenges of libraries, especially given the globalization of digital and technological resources and the changing profile of users and librarians, and to spark reflections on the future of the library and its role in the current context. ; Esta obra proporciona uma reflexão no âmbito da ciência da informação sobre o papel das bibliotecas no século XXI, especialmente daquelas de organizações públicas, as quais devem, a todo o momento, se repensar e se atualizar para conseguir cumprir com suas atribuições.
