    • Abstract:
The main objectives of this research were to analyze, synthesize and evaluate thequality of research for policy utilization at Srinakharinwirot University. Thesample of 749 studies was selected by purposive sampling from the completeresearches during 2008 – 2011. Qualitative data were synthesized by contentanalysis and presented in percentages. Quantitative data were synthesized byestimating effect size through the meta-analysis by Glass and others. Researchresults on descriptive data found that the majority of research published in2009 (36.6%) and in the field of humanities and social science (44.1%). Theaverage number of coordinated researchers was 1.87. The average number of pageswas 51.77, excluding appendices. The majority of research designs were ofexperimental research (37.7%). And the majority of the studied groups were thesamples in science experiments (34.4%). The results of internal and externalvalidity found that the majority of randomization was non-identity about therandomized method (59.5%), by purposive sampling (21.7%).The majority of the measurement quality test found that they were no test(40.9%). The mean, SD, andpercent were using 56.7% highest of total researches and t-test (21.4%). The major use of theseresearches was for institutional development and routine research (57.1%). The resultsof meta-analysis from 10 studies found that the learning developmental programshad influenced the learning achievement of students. The learning developmentalprograms had an influence on analytical thinking ability such as inquiry-based learning by technologyinformation data (d=4.75), learning physics activitiesby PDCA (d=2.71), six thinking hats learning program (d=2.48), teaching by conceptmapping (d=1.09), and inquiry-based learning of science activities (d=.63), respectively.
