Abstract: The present applied research arises from the strategy of reversing children's public spaces in cities, which are potentially in deterioration due to the state of obsolescence due to single-issue use and programs, in addition to their disconnection with the urban fabric that do not allow a exponential and optimal development for its neighborhood-city environment. From an academic development and analysis through an undergraduate Architecture workshop, from the classroom to the community, it seeks to generate that public spaces are much more than a place for the stay and socialization of neighbors, young people and children but are also important places for early childhood learning and participation. Growing up and connecting in the public space is an elementary condition for children and young people to have a daily education, binding with their close ones and a successful integration between the community and nature. The Government of Chile, through the Ministry of Social Development and the “Chile Crece Contigo” Program, has funds available to the Municipalities of the Region.
