Objective To know and analyze the care practices developed by multidisciplinary health care team in favor of women in Climacteric, and verify the knowledge of professionals about this phase. Method Methodology for data analysis used the Collective Subject Discourse (CSD). The instrument used was semi-structured interview. The sample consisted of 15 health professionals, and the data were collected in the period May-June 2013, in three of the county Guanambi ESF-BA. Results The study revealed a curative care practice, strengthening the biomedical model whose behavior therapy was associated with medical treatment, seen by many professionals as a solution for women who experience this phase and are only assisted when referring climacteric symptoms. Conclusion This study may serve as a reflexive basis for conducting new research in the context of primary health care with perspectives of new education strategies and permanent education for women, through individual, collective knowledge, and training of health professionals, who work Directly with this audience to think about a moment in the FHS agenda focusing on the attention to climacteric women. ; Objetivo Conocer y analizar las prácticas asistenciales desarrolladas por el equipo multiprofesional de salud en favor de la mujer en el climaterio, así como verificar el conocimiento de los profesionales acerca de esa fase. Método El instrumento utilizado fue una entrevista semiestructurada. La muestra fue constituida por 15 profesionales de salud, y la recolección de datos tuvo lugar en el período de mayo a junio del 2013, en tres ESF del municipio de Guanambi-BA, y para análisis de datos se utilizó el discurso del sujeto colectivo (DSC). Resultados El estudio reveló una práctica asistencial curativa, que reforzaba el modelo biomédico, cuya conducta terapéutica se asociaba al tratamiento médico, visto por muchos profesionales como la solución para las mujeres que viven esa fase y solamente son asistidas cuando se refieren a los síntomas del climaterio.
