Decolonial views on teacher’s continuing education in Latin America ; Miradas descoloniales sobre la formación contínua de docentes de América Latina ; Olhares descoloniais na formação continuada de professores desde a América Latina

This work starts with the following questions: what stage is the teachers’s continuing education at Latin American region? Where are concentrated the similarities and differences between the different nations of the region? What syntheses are possible to accomplish? What operational horizons emerge from these formation perspectives? To meet this challenge, the state-of-the-art production is used, taking as a criterion studies that contemplate the maximum number of Latin American countries. In the exploration and analysis of the selected material, it was possible to verify, among other aspects, that the abundance and diversity of actions undertaken in the field of teacher’s continuing education are usually accompanied by discontinuity, making it difficult or even impossible to follow up on these actions. The lack of institutionalization of training actions, through public policies, further aggravates the situation. The opening of academic means to planned actions, contemplating and prioritizing demands originating from the school floor, still remain challenges to be faced. ; Este trabajo empieza con las siguientes preguntas: ¿en qué etapa se encuentra la educación continua de los docentes en la región latinoamericana? ¿Dónde se concentran las similitudes y diferencias entre las diferentes naciones de la región? ¿Qué síntesis son posibles de lograr? ¿Qué horizontes operativos surgen de estas perspectivas de capacitación? Para enfrentar este desafío, se recorre a la producción del tipo estado del arte disponible, tomando como criterio estudios que incluyen el número máximo de países latinoamericanos. En la exploración y análisis del material seleccionado, fue posible verificar, entre otros aspectos, que la abundancia y diversidad de las acciones emprendidas en el campo de la formación continua del profesorado suelen ir acompañadas de discontinuidad, lo que dificulta o incluso imposibilita la evaluación de estas acciones.
