      Apresenta imagem de Spironucleus, um flagelado diplomonad. Como a maioria dos gêneros no grupo, há dois núcleos anteriores, surgindo em associação com cada núcleo um grupo de quatro flagelos. Os flagelos se inserem na cabeça de uma ranhura lateral. A maioria dos membros desse gênero são parasitas ; Componente Curricular::Educação Superior::Ciências Biológicas::Microbiologia
