Del feminismo y sus versiones en el ámbito anglonorteamericano ; Of feminism and its versions in the Anglo-American context

RESUMEN: En el presente artículo se hace un breve recorrido por las tres olas del feminismo anglonorteamericano aplicado a la crítica y teoría feministas, y por algunas de las tendencias del feminismo más asentadas en los países de habla inglesa (principalmente Gran Bretaña y EE. UU.). Desde las pioneras Mary Wollstonecraft y Margaret Fuller, pasando por críticas especialmente emblemáticas como Virginia Woolf, Elaine Showalter, Betty Friedan, Toril Moi, o Sandra Gilbert y Susan Gubar, llegamos al “Black Feminism” y a los feminismos étnicos e interseccionales de la tercera ola, para terminar el recorrido con una sucinta alusión al feminismo chicano en los EE. UU., centrado en la figura de Gloria Anzaldúa, por representar muchas de las tendencias feministas centradas en hibridismos, mestizaje y encuentro entre culturas. ; ABSTRACT: In this article we briefly review the three waves of Anglo-American feminism applied to feminist criticism and theory, and some of the most established feminist trends in the English-speaking countries (mainly Great Britain and the United States). From the pioneers Mary Wollstonecraft and Margaret Fuller, through particularly emblematic critics such as Virginia Woolf, Elaine Showalter, Betty Friedan, Toril Moi, or Sandra Gilbert and Susan Gubar, we reach “Black Feminism”, and the ethnic and intersectional feminisms of the third wave, to end this overview with a succinct allusion to Chicana feminism in the U.S., centered on the figure of Gloria Anzaldúa, as representative of a type of feminism aligned with hybridism, «mestizaje» and cross-cultural encounters. ; Depto. de Estudios Ingleses: Lingüística y Literatura ; Fac. de Filología ; Instituto de Investigaciones Feministas ; TRUE ; pub
