Abstract: Tema ovog rada je uloga i važnost industrije zabave za turistički i urbani razvoj – analiza primjera dobre prakse. Kao primjer dobre prakse koristit će se Hrvatska, s posebnim naglaskom na filmsku i glazbenu industriju kao vrstama industrije zabave. U radu se definiraju termini industrije zabave, turizma i urbanog razvoja te kako je sve započelo. Također se pojašnjava glazbena industrija, filmska industrija, glazbeni i filmski turizam. Primarna metoda istraživanja je analiza sadržaja gdje će se na temelju odabranih primjera dobre prakse nastojati uvidjeti koja je uloga i važnost filmske i glazbene industrije za Hrvatsku. Cilj rada je analizirati ulogu filmske i glazbene industrije te njihov utjecaj na turistički i urbani razvoj. ; The topic of this paper is the role and importance of the entertainment industry for tourism and urban development – an analysis of examples of good practice. Croatia will be used as an example of good practice, with emphasis on the film and music industry as types of entertainment industry. The paper defines the terms of the entertainment industry, tourism and urban development and how it all started. The music industry, film industry, music and film tourism are also clarified. The primary research method is a content analysis where, based on selected examples of good practice, we will try to see what the role and importance of the film and music industry is for Croatia. The aim of the paper is to analyze the role of the film and music industry and their impact on tourism and urban development.
