    • Abstract:
      Currently, social networks have a direct impact on societies. In this way, accelerated transformations are evident in the various social groups, specifically in the youth sector, all due to the fact that said sector is the most linked to this technological context. That is why, the objective was focused on determining the link between the family social climate and addiction to social networks in secondary level students of an Educational Institution in Chiclayo. For this, a study was carried out with a quantitative approach, of a basic type, and with a non-experimental design and correlational level. The results confirm the inverse and significant relationship between both constructs with a moderate degree. Likewise, it is evident that addiction to social networks breaks out and affects the socio-family climate of students who attend the secondary level. Thus, it is necessary to carry out various studies that delve into this subject, since this sector emerges as the main consumer of new technologies, specifically of the so-called social networks. ; Actualmente, las redes sociales poseen un impacto directo en las sociedades. De esta manera, se evidencian transformaciones aceleradas en los diversos grupos sociales, concretamente en el sector juvenil, todo ello debido a que dicho sector es el más vinculado a este contexto tecnológico. Es por ello que, el objetivo estuvo enfocado a determinar el vínculo entre el clima social familiar y la adicción a las redes sociales en educandos de nivel secundario de una Institución Educativa de Chiclayo. Para ello se realizó un estudio con un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico, y con un diseño no experimental y nivel correlacional. Los resultados constatan la relación inversa y significativa entre ambos constructos con un grado moderado. Asimismo, se evidencia que la adicción a las redes sociales irrumpe y afecta el clima sociofamiliar de los educandos que cursan el nivel secundario.
