The purpose of this text was to identify the perceptions of managers and Physical Education teachers of public schools in Nova Mutum - MT, regarding the participation of students in projects developed from the perspective of the methodology of Programa A União Faz a Vida, in order to validate this pedagogical practice in the school environment. This qualitative and descriptive research had the participation of five public schools that accept students from the 5th grade on, a stage in which the Physical Education teacher is required. A manager of each unit and all teachers of this subject who developed projects in the triennium 2016-2018 were interviewed.
