      Artigo (especialização) - Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, Centro de Artes e Letras, Curso de Especialização em Tecnologias da Informação e da Comunicação Aplicadas à Educação, EaD, RS, 2018. ; Faced with information and communication technologies (ICT) and their significant social and cultural impacts, this study aims to discuss the implications of these changes in education, reflecting on contemporary educational trends, among them the teaching of Arts and its history in the series mediated by audiovisual technologies. In order to consolidate this research, an activity of reflection and imagery production was carried out based on the works of the Modern Art period, when processes and forms of work with image production technologies such as photography, video, animation and illustrative literature were presented. a group of students of the Municipal School of Fundamental Education Padre Nóbrega, in Santa Maria, RS. Thus, the development of an exploratory research on the teaching of the History of Art through the creation and production of paintings of the modern period, with artists exponent and consecrated world-wide was proposed. At the end, an audiovisual was generated, from the material prepared, through visual and audio recording of all activities, which could be multiplied through physical media (DVD) and / or made available to schools in order to work contents of Visual Arts. ; Face às tecnologias de informação e comunicação (TIC) e seus significativos impactos sociais e culturais, este estudo tem por objetivo discutir acerca das implicações dessas mudanças na educação, refletindo sobre as tendências educacionais contemporâneas, dentre elas o ensino das Artes e sua história nas séries iniciais, mediado por tecnologias audiovisuais.
