    • Abstract:
      Dinah Lenney discusses her book, “Bigger than Life.” She begins by explaining that the book is a memoir of her life and experiences beginning with the traumatic event of her father’s kidnapping in 1997. She shares how her father, Nelson Gross, was a one-time Senate hopeful only to be kidnapped and murdered by three teenage boys. Lenney explores what a tragedy of such large proportions does to the survivors. She explains that she is an actress living in Echo Park, California and since the murder has re-examined her relationship with her father and come to terms with him. She goes on shares some of her memories of her father and the events surrounding his death. Later in the interview she discusses the trial and sentencing of her father’s murders.
