Abstract: This work aims to notes the reform of High School for Geography Teaching. In order to achieve this purpose, a bibliographical analysis was carried out that addresses the changes proposed for the implementation of the New Secondary Education, focusing on the training itineraries and the main reforms contained in this guiding document for Geography education in Brazil. In addition to the literature review, data were collected from three Geography teachers from public high schools in Porto Nacional, To: Escola Estadual Carmênia Matos, Colégio Estadual Marechal Arthur da Costa Silva and Escola Estadual Brasil. Also having specific objectives: to understand the process of adaptation of teachers to the New High School and the way in which Geography teaching is being applied in these Basic Education teaching institutions researched. The research highlights that teachers are emphatic in identifying the central problems for the development of learning. They emphasize the importance of educators abandoning the monotonous and inflexible approach to teaching Geography and that simply teaching concepts and categories of analysis is not enough. And it is still crucial to use a differentiated approach to help students build spatial awareness and geographic thinking. ; Esse trabalho tem como objetivo apontamentos da reforma do Ensino Médio para Ensino de Geografia.
