      This research, entitled "Classroom Keys: Teaching Strategies and Environments That Transform Basic Education," aimed to describe how teaching strategies and environments enhance the educational process at the "Francisco Illingworth Icaza" Educational Unit, located in Montalvo. The study was conducted using a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental design and descriptive scope. Information was obtained through a structured survey administered to 15 teachers using Google Forms. A literature review was also conducted to theoretically support the findings, as well as specific observations of the school environment. The results show that teaching strategies are essential for guiding the teaching-learning process, as they allow for better organization of content and addressing students' needs. The need to adapt strategies according to the educational level was identified, incorporating active methodologies such as project-based learning, concept maps and roundtable discussions. It was also concluded that the school environment and social relationships within the classroom positively influence learning, fostering motivation and participation. Collaboration between teachers, families, and the community stands out as a key factor in achieving a comprehensive education. In summary, both pedagogical strategies and the learning environment are essential keys to improving educational quality in Basic Education. ; La presente investigación, titulada “Claves del aula: Estrategias didácticas y ambientes que transforman la Educación Básica”, tuvo como objetivo describir cómo las estrategias didácticas y los ambientes favorecen el proceso educativo en la Unidad Educativa “Francisco Illingworth Icaza”, ubicada en Montalvo .El estudio se desarrolló con un enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental y alcance descriptivo.
