Construction of scenarios for a forestry chain in Arauca ; Construcción de escenarios para la cadena forestal en Arauca

Using a prospective exercise, the construction of a scenario for the forest production chain in the Department of Arauca which, as a territorial entity, has a great agroforestry potential, is proposed here, although the region still lacks an articulated chain. Starting with the joint participation of actors of industry and the department, the construction of eight scenarios for understanding the reality of the sector and the region is proposed. It is also proposed to emphasize on the description of the baseline scenario, it’s to say, one which maintains the variables as they presently are and also in the desired scenario. In it, strategies should be implemented to achieve the ideal chain in the region. ; Mediante un ejercicio prospectivo se propone el levantamiento de escenarios para la cadena productiva forestal en Arauca, que como departamento tiene un gran potencial agroforestal, pero aún no está articulado a la cadena. Se plantea a partir de la construcción conjunta de los actores de la industria y del departamento, la creación de ocho espacios que permitan entender la realidad del sector y de la región, haciendo especial énfasis en la descripción del escenario tendencial, es decir, aquel que mantiene las variables como en la actualidad y en el escenario deseado, en el cual, deben diseñarse estrategias para alcanzar el ideal de la cadena en la región.
