    • Abstract:
      These are complementary materials for the study of an active learning methodology in engineering education. The methodology was focused on learning the fundamentals of electronics, physical computing, programming, and basic robotics at an undergraduate level. This study responds to the need to create active learning methodologies in engineering with online and mobile learning. Also, currently, there is a debate on how to evaluate students in online environments and how to promote hands-on activities in these that this work intents to address. The study combines online and mobile learning to foster the educational process of the students. N = 56 engineering students participated in this study for 1 year and a half. In the materials can be found the following resources: 1. Rubric and surveys' questions employed in the study. 2. Supporting document about the methodology (phases, type of kits sent to the home of the students, information about the mobile learning platform Emdroid, cost of the kits, among other elements). 3. Links with examples of blogs and student-created videos to evidence learning, experimentation, and improvement of skills (technical and soft).
