Abstract: This report describes the steps projetuais developing a product that provides incentives for the visually impaired child , investigating issues related to visual impairment (stimuli,limitations,among others) and identifying possible obstacles in environments use.The methodology is based Bonsiepe in Gui (1984 ) , as well as descriptive research , bibliographic and field held at the Foundation Center for Integrated Support Carrier disability ( FUNAD ) , through behavioral observations of the target audience , interviews with mothers and professionals and photographic record by consent . All research protocol was approved by the Ethics in Research , Center for Health Sciences , Federal University of Paraíba -CEP / CCS protocol number 0264 /11 . The need for this project arose based on studies it was observed that most of the visually impaired children are slow to stand and walk independently acquire , they need to know the environment in order to feel motivated to break the space safely , only will do when you can relate the object to the sound produced by it,through experimentation audio - tactile - kinesthetic .Given the dependence on the parents and the lack of mobility products for this audience , or even more affordable , is of great importance to design a product that has the function of guiding locomotion , allowing freedom to move around without dependent parents , having confidence in herself , offering incentives to provide a perception of spatial location , such as audio- tactile - kinesthetic , contributing to its development . ; Este relatório descreve as etapas projetuais do desenvolvimento de um produto que proporcione estímulos para a criança deficiente visual, investigando questões relacionadas à deficiência visual (estímulos, limitações, dentre outras) e identificando os obstáculos existentes nos possíveis ambientes de uso.
