This article brings the result of a research whose objective was to describe and analyze the subjective constitution of the deaf child born to hearing parents. The research method was the case study and the collection procedure was the interview. Seven hearing parents were chosen; all have deaf children with deafness profound and congenital. From the empirical data, it was verified that the precariousness of communication possible within the family in the first years of the child's life promotes a singularity in the psychic constitution of the deaf child, the effect of not being able to say. The analysis of the parents' experiences shows that they are marked by suffering in the difficulty of communicating with their children and that there is a narcissistic rescue of the child when the family learns sign language. The epistemological basis of the research is psychoanalysis, which made it possible to look at the data from listening to the parents interviewed. ; Este artículo trae el resultado de una investigación cuyo objetivo fue describir y analizar la constitución subjetiva del niño sordo nacido de padres oyentes. El método de investigación fue el estudio de caso y el procedimiento de recolección fue la entrevista. Se entrevistó a siete padres y madres oyentes; todos tienen hijos sordos con sordera profunda y congénita. A partir de los datos empíricos fue posible verificar que la precariedad de la comunicación en el seno de la familia en los primeros años de vida del niño promueve una singularidad en la constitución psíquica del niño sordo, efecto de no poder decir. El análisis de las experiencias de los padres muestra que están marcados por el sufrimiento en la dificultad de comunicarse con sus hijos y que hay un rescate narcisista del niño cuando la familia aprende la lengua de señas.
