      International audience ; In response to the global expansion and re-emergence of vector-borne diseases, WHO launched the Global Vector Control Response program in 2017. The aim is to strengthen vector control through increased capacity, innovation, improved surveillance, better coordination, and integrated action. Will this new approach overcome the failings of previous initiatives?
