      Our goal is to present some characteristics of Discourse Analysis as a specific linguistic approach of discourses.The very essence of scientific research, whatever the area or object, is, first of all, to adopt a certain theoretical and methodological framework. This choice is not the result of a simple ritual or tradition. In this case, we will focus on the theoretical concept of heterogeneity as an ordering principle of investigation in discourse linguistics.
