Educação inclusiva no ensino superior: análise de políticas educacionais para a pessoa com deficiência na Universidade Federal do Maranhão

Aborda a educação inclusiva no ensino superior com a análise das políticas educacionais para a pessoa com defi ciência na Universidade Federal do Maranhão (UFMA). Refl ete sobre a construção de políticas educacionais inclusivas, a partir das diretrizes estabelecidas pelo Ministério da Educação (MEC), destacando-se as contribuições do Programa de Apoio a Planos de Reestruturação das Universidades Federais (REUNI), do Programa de Acessibilidade na Educação Superior (INCLUIR) e do Núcleo de Acessibilidade (NUACE). Na UFMA, as principais ações destinadas à inclusão da pessoa com defi ciência são decorrentes do NUACE. Nessa instituição, o processo de construção de inclusão para a pessoa com defi ciência é uma realidade e representa um avanço em termos de políticas educacionais, embora ainda discreto, insufi ciente e restrito às ações pontuais e setoriais, precisando ser ampliado e consolidado enquanto política educacional inclusiva. ABSTRACT It approaches inclusive education in higher education with the analysis of the educational policies for the person with disability at Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA). Refl ects on the construction of inclusive educational policies at UFMA, starting from the guidelines established by Ministry of Education (MEC), highlighting the contributions of the Support Program for the Restructuring Plans of Federal Universities (REUNI), the ccessibility Program in Higher Education (INCLUIR) and the Center of Accessibility (NUACE). At UFMA, the main actions designed for the inclusion of the person with disability are arising from NUACE. The construction process of inclusion for the person with disability at UFMA is a reality and it represents an advance in terms of educational policies, although still discrete, insuffi cient and restricted to punctual and sectorial actions, needing to be expanded and consolidated as inclusive educational policy.
