Abstract: Introduction: Nutritional status reflects energy balance between food intake and physical activity, thus healthy eating habits should be promoted in the work environment. Objective: To characterize the nutritional status and cardiovascular risk of workers from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia (Bogotá Campus) and to determine the factors associated with the presence of overweight or obesity in this population. Materials and methods: Cross-sectional study conducted between August 2017 and June 2018 in 131 workers.
