Abstract: Investments in socially significant areas, solving environmental problems are playing an increasingly important role in investment decisions among investors, in the company's corporate social responsibility strategy. Russia is on an active way of integrating a culture of responsible investment, improvi the transparency of the company’s activities in business practices, financial relations, but lags behind foreign countries. However, this will help increase the competitiveness of domestic companies, strengthen their position in the stock market and integrate sustainable development goals into the global process. The article discusses the trends of development responsible investment in Russia and in abroad, explores scientific researches in this area among foreign and Russian authors, identifies problems and suggests ways to solve them.
