    • Abstract:
Aims: The current study aims at investigating the effect of analogical thinking strategy on the achievement of the fifth scientific students in Arabic grammar and their evaluative thinking. The researcher adopted the experimental design with two groups. The sample of the study consisted of (61) students: (30) students for the experimental group and (31) students for the control group. The researcher also adopted two objective tests: the first objective test consisted of (40) items to test the achievement of the sample, while the second test consisted of (30) items to measure the evaluative thinking. After analyzing the data, the results showed that there is a significant difference between the mean scores of the two groups for the favor of the experimental group in both tests (achievement and evaluative thinking). Conclusion: it can be concluded that the analogical thinking strategy can be an effective strategy for teaching and could lead to significant achievement.
