Abstract: The study, in the form of a theoretical essay, discusses the exercise of creativity in math classes through art, giving rise to creativity as a creative power and as a way of being in the world. To make the discussions more tangible, images generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) are used and an activity is proposed, inspired by the paintings of Russian artist Georgy Kurasov, which addresses mathematical elements and enhances creative thinking. The proposal defends art as an insurrection against the pimping/banality of life, inviting students to an aesthetic exercise in math class, to express themselves creatively in the world and to break away from the fast pace of productivity.
