      One investigated on the drama "Abdala" of José Martí, with the objective that the theater instructors, when directing their setting in scene converse with the children during the stage of the table work, so that they understand it and assume active and reflexively the points of view that will defend when representing it. The result consists on a group of answers to analytic questions on "Abdala ", and on the place of the theater in José's work Martí whose study has been implemented in the Degree in Education, Instructor of Art of the University of Matanzas, that which viabiliza the employment of the work martiana in the professional formation of the art instructors and its preparation to direct the setting efficiently in scene of "Abdala " in each Cuban school.       Se indagó sobre el drama "Abdala" de José Martí, con el objetivo de que los instructores de teatro, al dirigir su puesta en escena conversen con los niños durante la etapa del trabajo de mesa, para que lo entiendan y asuman activa y reflexivamente los puntos de vista que defenderán al representarlo. El resultado consiste en un conjunto de respuestas a preguntas analíticas sobre "Abdala", y sobre el lugar del teatro en la obra de José Martí, cuyo estudio se ha implementado en la Licenciatura en Educación, Instructor de Arte de la Universidad de Matanzas, lo cual viabiliza el empleo de la obra martiana en la formación profesional de los instructores de arte y su preparación para dirigir eficazmente la puesta en escena de "Abdalá" en cada escuela cubana.
