      Highlights from the article: Thom Petersen led his first trade mission to Columbia and Peru as Minnesota agriculture commissioner in early June, and the experience provided a first-hand view of the market potential for the state's farm products. In 2018, U.S. producers provided 100% of Colombia's soybean imports, 97% of corn imports and 91% of pork and pork product. Ag exports to Peru in 2018 totaled $13.6 million with dairy products, feeds and fodders, and poultry meats and products as top commodities exported.
