Abstract: El presente documento tiene como objetivo definir el diseño y la construcción de prototipo de aplicación de realidad aumentada para el aprendizaje de vocabulario del idioma inglés orientado a estudiantes de educación básica del colegio Instituto Educativo Distrital Rodrigo Lara Bonilla, ubicado en la localidad de Ciudad Bolívar en Bogotá. La educación y la vida actual se desarrolla en un contexto cada vez más bilingüe, el aprendizaje del idioma inglés específicamente se requiere para hacer investigación y desarrollar habilidades técnicas y tecnológicas. Por tal motivo se hace necesario incentivar y desarrollar herramientas que permitan solidificar las bases del aprendizaje del idioma a los estudiantes de educación media de las instituciones públicas de la ciudad. Investigar técnicas y estilos de aprendizaje articulados con las tecnologías de la información podrían ayudar a incentivar, hacer más eficiente el aprendizaje del idioma y sobre despertar el interés del estudiante por el idioma. ; The objective of this document is to define the design and construction of an augmented reality application prototype for learning vocabulary of the English language oriented to basic education students of the Rodrigo Lara Bonilla District Educational Institute school, located in the town of Ciudad Bolívar in Bogota. Education and current life takes place in an increasingly bilingual context, learning the English language is specifically required to do research and develop technical and technological skills. For this reason, it is necessary to encourage and develop tools that allow solidifying the foundations of language learning for high school students of the city's public institutions. Investigating learning techniques and styles articulated with information technologies could help to encourage, make language learning more efficient and arouse the student's interest in the language.
