This article refers to the diagnosis of accounting factors in the sustainable development of the metal-mechanic companies of Barranquilla. Knowing that Sustainable Development is defined as the satisfaction of the needs of the generation without compromising future generations. That is why Colombia is an entrepreneurial country, with a wide ecological variety of which programs that facilitate sustainable development can be included. The objective pursued by this article is to diagnose the accounting factors in the sustainable development of metalworking companies in the city of Barranquilla, to carry out this research, importance is given to Sustainable Development and metalworking companies, which represent a high index between manufacturers and distributors. That is why we want to determine the accounting factors in the sustainable development of these companies in the city of Barranquilla. Through systematic research it is possible to determine that there are factors that directly affect sustainable development, among which we can highlight: Compatibility with companies, perception, level of training, implementation. El presente arti?culo refiere al diagno?stico de los factores contables en el desarrollo sostenible de las empresas metalmeca?nicas de Barranquilla. Sabiendo que se define el Desarrollo Sostenible como la satisfaccio?n de las necesidades de la generacio?n sin comprometer las generaciones futuras. Es por ello que Colombia es un pai?s emprendedor, con una amplia variedad ecolo?gica de la cual se pueden incluir programas que faciliten el desarrollo sostenible. El objetivo que persigue este arti?culo es de diagnosticar los factores contables en el desarrollo sostenible de las empresas metalmeca?nicas de la ciudad de Barranquilla, para llevar a cabo esta investigacio?n se le da importancia al Desarrollo Sostenibley a las empresas metalmeca?nicas, las cuales representan un alto i?ndice entre fabricantes y distribuidores. Es por ello que se quiere determinar los factores contables en el desarrollo sostenible de estas empresas en la ciudad de Barranquilla. A trave?s de la investigacio?n sistema?tica es posible determinar que existen factores que inciden manera directa a un desarrollo sostenible, entre los cuales se pueden resaltar: Compatibilidad con las empresas, Percepcio?n, Nivel de formacio?n, Implementacio?n.
