      The article discusses the benefits of microdosing to boost the development of paediatric medicines in Europe. It notes that microdosing provides data about a drug's pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in humans at an early stage of development. It adds the 1.2 million euro grant towards a programme called Pharmaceutical Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Microdose Pediatric Evaluation Research Study (PAMPER) that will address the shortage of paediatric medicines for all age groups.
